What PassHU is
PassHU is a free app for preparing for the Hungarian cultural knowledge exam (in Hungarian, the magyar kulturális ismereti vizsga), and for anyone curious about Hungary's history, traditions and culture. It brings together an exam-style quiz, flashcards, key Hungarian words and bilingual study material in one place.
The study material is in Hungarian and English side by side, and quiz questions can be shown in Hungarian, English or both. The interface itself is in English, so you can start before your Hungarian does.
PassHU is free on Google Play and the App Store, works fully offline, and collects no personal data.
PassHU is an independent study aid made by Bokodi Apps. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the authority that runs the exam, and it is not the official study material. Official information about the exam is published, in Hungarian, by the Országos Idegenrendészeti Főigazgatóság, Hungary's immigration authority: oif.gov.hu/tajekoztatok/magyar-kulturalis-ismereti-vizsga.
